Octopus is a British psychedelic pop band that released their only album 'Restless Night' in 1971. The album has an expanded version with 12 bonus tracks. The band was founded in 1963 by brothers Paul and Nigel Griggs and was initially known as Cortinas. Octopus is considered to be more independent and psychedelic than the American and German bands with the same name. The band had a reputation as one of the best beat bands in Hatfield, UK.
